The following instructions will help you to set up the Raspberry Pi within a few minutes and to take the first steps with FLECS. Enjoy the ride!

Prerequisites

Before you get started you will need:

A Raspberry Pi (we recommend Raspberry Pi 4 Model B)

An SD card with at least 16 GB memory

Raspberry Pi OS 10, or higher

Step 1: Install Raspberry Pi OS using Raspberry Pi Imager

The easiest way to get a Raspberry Pi up and running is to use the Raspberry Pi Imager. Visit the Raspberry Pi site to download it and flash your SD card with it. Follow these instructions before you continue with the next step here. After the Raspberry Pi Imager successfully flashed your SD card and you finished the general configuration, you are ready to install FLECS now.

Step 2: Install FLECS

To proceed be sure to

Connect the Raspberry Pi to your local network with a network cable.

Connect the Raspberry Pi to the power supply and let it boot.

Enter the following command into the command line of your Raspberry Pi:

Install FLECS for free by just running

curl -L marketplace.flecs.tech/install.sh | sudo bash

Step 3: Use FLECS

After your Raspberry Pi has rebooted, you can access the FLECS UI by just entering the ip address, or hostname of your Raspberry Pi in your browser. If you have not changed the hostname, then http://raspberrypi will take you directly to it.

If there is already another webserver running on this system, try to append port :8080 or port :8008
